The Person Who I Admire

The person who I admire is Mr.Paramesvaran Baskaran who is one of the young entrepreneurs who are growing well in his venture. He is the owner of the Sunshine Top Clean and Sunshine Auto. He is also my loving cousin brother. Parames was born in 2nd March 1981 in Tanjong Malim Hospital. He only had finished his SPM and not able to continue his studies because his father cannot afford him and after him there four of them who are still going to school. So Parames have to put a full stop for his studies and help his father to share the burden. Parames started working in a workshop owned by a Chinese to earn money and also to earn some experience. He also started to save money to start a business. When he was growing up his role model was Dato Lim Goh Tong. Parames from young interested in entrepreneurial things and he is not interested to work under others. He desired to start a business on his own when he was young. There is nobody in his family who are entrepreneurs.

Parames’ primary motivation to start the business is to overcome the poverty of their family and to support his siblings’ education. He from young had seen his father and grandfather had difficulties to raise the family even when they both worked hard and earned around RM 1500 to RM 2500 every month. The support from his family members, relatives and close friends, poverty of his family, and his interest in business are the factors that lead him to start the venture. Parames started his venture in the year 2001 when he was only 20 years old. The business he started first is a car wash service in the middle of the town of Tanjong Malim. He started the business with the name Sunshine Top Clean.

Now he is a succesfull entrepreneur with a car wash, towing service, car rental service and also car sales. He worked really hard to achieve this position. The reason why I admire him is because the way he developed his business really attracted me. He spent most of his time to think on how to develop his business. He is also very hardworking and dedicated person. He is also very loving and willing to sacrifice his studies for his family's sake.

I hope Parames will become more succesful in his business in future.
